Dr. Omri Ayalon is a board certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hand and upper extremity as well as orthoplastic reconstruction of the upper and lower limbs. He is driven by a passion for improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages facing a diverse array of upper extremity conditions. As the co-director of the Center for Amputation Reconstruction at NYU Langone, he employs advanced surgical techniques and prosthetic technologies to expertly address limb loss, specializing in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder surgery, with a focus on nerve surgery, reconstructive procedures, and trauma.

Dr. Ayalon emphasizes collaborative efforts with patients to achieve optimal outcomes, personalizing recovery programs. Having completed orthopedic and specialty training at NYU Langone, Dr. Ayalon appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the community through involvement in residency and fellowship programs. As the Associate Director of the Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship program at NYU, he conducts research and trains the next generations of surgeons, hoping to enhance healthcare now and in the future.
