He specializes in complex upper and lower limb prosthetics and immediate postoperative care. In addition to providing care for people with limb loss and limb differences, John is involved in research and testing new products. He presents at academic conferences, teaches continuing education courses, publishes in textbooks and professional journals, and trains prosthetic residents.
